Wedding at Sacred Heart Church Savannah Georgia

Recessional at Sacred Heart Church Savannah

Join Savannah Proper in congratulating Caitlin and Andrew on their new beginning together as husband and wife. The couple had a spectacular celebration surrounded by friends and family. Savannah was somewhat of a destination wedding for the families who lived in the Northeast, and had recently re-located to the South Carolina low country. So, they enlisted the help of wedding planner Jennifer Hinton of Love Actually Weddings and Events to bring the celebration to life. The days events started at The Jules Savannah on Chippewa Square where the couple had separate suites and ample room for the getting ready moments.

The wedding ceremony took place at Sacred Heart Church on Bull Street in the Victorian District. With it’s high ceilings and classic cathedral architecture it was as an ideal location for a traditional Catholic service. Family portraits were coordinated with the photographers to be done at the church so that close relatives could make their way over to the reception venue to host cocktail hour.

The couple and their bridal party then took a trolly to Forsyth Park for wedding portraits pulling in that quintessential Savannah style. Following time in the park all headed to Savannah Station for the reception celebration. A beautiful and remarkably day for all to enjoy brought to life by the professionals listed above.
